Support Worker “immediate openings”!
Two Support workers positions needed to provide in-home and community-based training and care for an adult female in the Bunnlevel area. This is a part-time position.
The hours and days for this position are Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and every weekend on Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Two staff are needed to split the weekends, so that each person is only working every other weekend. Must be available to work as a back-up staff for the other primary staff Monday through Friday and on the weekends as well.

One Full Time Support Worker in Spring Lake Area
9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday
Support Worker position in the Fuquay-Varina area
The Stevens Center is currently hiring a “Support Worker” (a.k.a. Direct Support Workers, CAP workers, Hab Techs, or DSPs) to work with a man in his 20’s, his interests includes fishing/ sports, hunting, being outdoors and volunteering. Candidate must be active, engaging. The support worker will be working with the young man in his home and also provide community based training and care. Services will be primarily focusing on providing coaching on accessing services, evaluating, making and maintaining positive relationships with peers, family and other community members.
This is a part-time position, 20 hours a week, scheduled Monday – Friday during work day hours, and pays between 9.50 – 12.00 an hour.
The hours and days for this position are Monday through Friday twenty hours a week position. Applicants must have ability to maintain positive and supportive rapport with individual receiving services and their family, co-workers, and supervisor. Reliability is also a MUST!
The Stevens Center is searching for dedicated individuals to join our team as a Support Worker.
The Support Worker will maintain a therapeutic relationship while providing one-on-one support to individuals who have a developmental disability.
Responsibilities vary, but can include:
Assisting individuals in completing personalized goals that are designed to promote independence in home and/or in the community.
Providing guidance to individuals when making independent choices at home and/or in the community.
Assisting individuals with personal care, such as toileting, bathing, and hygiene.
Maintaining timely and accurate documentation.
Attending yearly, paid training, provided by the Stevens Center.
The Support Worker reports to the QP (Qualified Professional) Supervisor.
