The Stevens Center is hiring for Support Workers to work with our amazing individuals in the home and out in the Community! 

Open interviews will be held on Thursday, October 3rd from 

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. OR 2:00 P.M. TO 5:00 P.M.

Benefits Packages Include:

30 – 39 hours per week – Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, long term disability, life insurance and AD&D policies!

Support Worker “immediate openings”!

Immediate Opening in Tramway area:

Support Worker to work the male in his 20’s, his interests includes sports (especially basketball), outdoors and volunteering. Candidate must be active, engaging (this is not a couch-supervising position), and like dogs (two big, friendly indoor dogs). Job is Monday – Friday generally from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Hours could increase with the compatible Support Worker. 2 Support Worker positions 20 miles from Sanford in Harnett County: j

One Full Time Support Worker in Spring Lake Area 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

One Part Time Support Worker 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday

Full-time support worker needed for an adult male in the Lillington area.

Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm and 7:00 am to 5:00 p.m. during the summer


1, Support Worker needed for a young adult in the Angier area during the school year and summer: t

Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Summer)

Monday – Friday from 3:15 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. (School Year) 

Occasional Respite as needed per request by the Family

The Stevens Center is searching for dedicated individuals to join our team as a Support Worker.

Position Summary:

The Support Worker will maintain a therapeutic relationship while providing one-on-one support to individuals who have a developmental disability.

Responsibilities vary, but can include:

  • Assisting individuals in completing personalized goals that are designed to promote independence in home and/or in the community.

  • Providing guidance to individuals when making independent choices at home and/or in the community.

  •  Assisting individuals with personal care, such as toileting, bathing, and hygiene.

  • Maintaining timely and accurate documentation.

  • Attending yearly, paid training, provided by the Stevens Center.

The Support Worker reports to the QP (Qualified Professional) Supervisor.

Required Certifications

  • EBPI Certification

  • First Aid/CPR

  • Bloodborne Pathogens

The Stevens Center will provide the necessary certifications training to the right applicant.
